My job was to translate all the details and wild colours in his book to CMYK printing. To do this correctly, it requires full cooperation between the photographer and me. This book required me to fall back on my vast knowledge and skill in colour reproduction to get the colours the way Jos had intended them when shooting these images. After such extensive work on our end it all comes down to the printer. If the printer doesn’t know their job perfectly our hard work will be in vain. To make sure we get the intended result I made sure to be there at the start of printing. The whole process calls for collaboration and made the end result one to be truly proud of.
